The Hockey Company & The ECHL Sign Unprecedented Sponsorship Deal The ECHL will outfit its players in all 31 markets exclusively in CCM©, JOFA© & KOHO© products Montreal, Quebec, January 26, 2004... The ECHL and The Hockey Company Holdings Inc. (THC), manufacturer of three of the world's most recognized hockey brands, CCM©, JOFA© and KOHO©, have entered into a major on-ice equipment and apparel marketing and licensing deal that is unprecedented in its nature and scope. This new agreement, which will commence at the start of the 2004/2005 season, establishes THC's brands as the exclusive supplier of hockey sticks, helmets, visors, gloves, pants and protective equipment to all 31 ECHL teams. It also establishes THC as the exclusive supplier of authentic and replica jerseys to 10 of the ECHL teams. Within the new Marketing agreement, THC has a commitment to invest in a range of sponsorship and media vehicles including the ECHL All Star event, in-arena signage and team promotions. THC is also granted the exclusive rights to supply all ECHL on-ice Officials with jerseys, helmets, visors and pants.
