Myers’ rookie campaign was recognized with him being awarded the Calder Memorial Trophy as the NHL Rookie of the Year. Playing veteran level minutes, Myers stepped right into his role leading the Sabres’ defense with 48 points and finishing 5th overall in team scoring.
